September, 2007
I just realized I've been so busy this past year I haven't updated my website! So rather than try to cheat and back-date everything, here's a summary of what I've been up to the past year. I worked on several short films which have been submitted to film festivals, and also got a new commercial agent in August! I'm also hard at work on a new feature film that I'll be writing & producing early 2008. It's been a really great year so far, and I'm looking forward to a productive Fall.
September, 2006
After enjoying working with Harry Kao on one of his short films last month, I was thrilled to get a call to work with him again, this time on his latest short film, "Resemblance". I played a husband who realizes just how fragile his marriage is when a deep conversation with his wife unfolds.
August, 2006
This month I shot a short film "To Serve, Protect & Permit" for director Harry Kao. I played a police officer again, who interrupts a film shoot featuring another police officer. It's one of those "films within a film" scenarios that worked out well!
June, 2006
Towards the end of the month, I was at the Los
Angeles Film Festival. In between viewing all of the great films
and networking with other actors & filmmakers, I assisted the staff in some of the venues & booths.
May,
2006
I just completed shooting the short film, "Avatar" for
London director Phil Rhodes. I played a police officer
who becomes increasingly agitated as he realizes the
criminal who holds a hostage at gunpoint is not going
to give up, and deadly force must be used. Click
here to view still photos from the shoot! And my
episode of "LA
Forensics" aired
on CourtTV on May 12th! I played an LAPD bomb squad detective,
who must analyze the remaining fragments of a car bomb
in order to solve a murder.
April, 2006
I was cast by Lindiwe Stenberg as one of the leads in a
film called "Rent A Yenta". This short comedy shows what
can go wrong when you don't use the services of an experienced
matchmaker :)
March, 2006
This month kept me busy, between a large number of auditions,
and being cast as a police officer for a short film that
is being submitted to The Getty Museum for a film showcase.
February, 2006
I was fortunate enough to land a co-starring role on an
episode of "LA
Forensics". This is a new show airing on CourtTV,
featuring members of the LAPD Scientific Investigation
Unit solving cases. I was on the set for three days - one
of which involved the special effects team blowing up a
car - and I had an absolute blast (no pun intended). |
